"Know your consumer rights"

ATASC Citizen Consumer Club was formed with the goal of raising consumer rights awareness among all consumer segments and assisting consumers in obtaining justice when they are harmed. To teach students about their fundamental rights as citizens and to make them aware of and learn about their fundamental duties as citizens. As members of the Citizen Consumer Club, students can collectively involve themselves wholeheartedly in assisting citizen consumers in upholding their rights and fundamental rights. They can work together to be responsible and dutiful citizens, reminding them of their responsibilities and duties. Awareness, Alertness, and Action will be the guiding principles in establishing the enlightened consumer society required to rediscover India's greatness. They can instil meritorious characteristics and work hard to live as responsible and dutiful citizens.

Objective

• To create the awareness to the consumers on their rights as per the Consumer rights act 1986.
• To reach out to the public, both near and far, in order to educate them about their rights and responsibilities as consumers.
• To collaborate with other voluntary consumer organizations to strengthen the consumer movement.

VISION

To help students understand fundamental rights for all consumer segments of a citizen, as well as to make them aware of and learn the fundamental duties of a good citizen.

MISSION

To raise awareness about the Consumer rights and policies to the rural community, in which remot villagers will be enriched with consumer protection right and social responsibilties .
